On the other hand, they are also seen as symbols of deceit and deviousness. While genocide involves deceit and cruelty, the victims often endure with incredible strength and resilience. Just as the flowers stand strong against harsh conditions, those targeted by genocide show remarkable courage and perseverance in the face of horrific acts of violence and oppression.
