Albanian MP Blasts Serbian Officials for Praising Srebrenica Massacre

Albanian MP in the Serbian Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has harshly condemned the video where officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia are seen during the New Year’s night, singing songs praising the Srebrenica genocide and calling for new crimes against minorities in Serbia.

In his reaction, Kamberi underlined that the policemen’s songs about the new Srebrenica in Sandzak are the real face of Vulin and Vuçiç’s Serbia.

“The songs of the police about the new Srebrenica in Sandzak are the real face of Vulin and Vuçiç’s Serbia. ‘O Pazar – the new Vukovar, oj Sjenica – the new Srebrenica.’ These are the verses which during the celebration of the new year were sung by some members of the police operating in the Sandzak area.

They proudly published them on their social networks. Of course. What to expect from the police when their Minister denies the Srebrenica genocide every day, with President Vuçiç. Approving silence. The songs of the police in Sandzak are the real face of the Serbia of Vulin and Vuçiç,” Kamberi wrote.

However, the video, which shows officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, weaving verses to the Srebrenica genocide, was made in a restaurant in Priboj, Serbia, during the New Year holiday. It has caused harsh reactions. According to sandzakpress.rs, the video was posted on Facebook by one of the police officers from Priboj, Serbia.

The Srebrenica massacre, also known as the Srebrenica genocide, was the July 1995 genocide of more than 8,000 Bosniak Muslim men and boys in and around the town of Srebrenica, during the Bosnian War. The killings were perpetrated by units of the Bosnian Serb Army of Republika Srpska under the command of Ratko Mladić.
